Specialized surgical treatments we offer
Because of our medical group's expertise, we can focus on advanced surgeries, many of which use minimally invasive techniques, such as laparoscopic and robot-assisted methods.
Laparoscopic cholecystectomy
This procedure uses imaging to guide your surgeon in making small incisions that ease gallbladder removal. A minimally invasive surgery, the procedure treats gallbladder issues that have progressed to a chronic or severe stage. As a result, you'll have a shorter hospital visit.
Pancreatic surgery
Our pancreatic surgeons utilize the following surgeries to treat cancer or pancreatic disorders:
- Pancreatectomy — This technique surgically removes all or part of the pancreas, allowing treatment for tumors or pancreatitis.
- Whipple procedure — This procedure removes the pancreas head, gallbladder, duodenum and bile duct, allowing for treatment of pancreatic cancer.
Hernia surgery
You may need to see a hernia surgeon when an organ pushes through muscle tissue or the abdominal wall. We perform minimally invasive procedures whenever possible to correct this condition, treating abdominal, hiatal, inguinal, paraesophageal and umbilical hernias.
Weight loss (bariatric) surgery
You may opt for weight loss surgery, also known as bariatric surgery, to reach your health goals. Your bariatric treatment may include pre-surgical counseling, surgery, postoperative follow-up and support group resources, and we support you every step of your weight loss journey. Bariatric procedures we perform include:
- Gastric bypass
- Gastric sleeve

- Toupet fundoplication
