Surgical services for your needs

Seeking out one of our experienced surgical specialists for treatment is a sound first step towards high-quality care tailored to your condition and overall health needs.

Conditions we treat

Our experienced surgeons manage your condition and ensure that our procedures work well with your unique anatomy and overall wellness. Not every condition warrants surgery, but some that we typically treat with surgical intervention include:

  • Appendicitis
  • Colon cancers
  • Fecal incontinence
  • Gallbladder disorders
  • Hemorrhoids
  • Liver diseases
  • Obesity
  • Pancreatic cancers and disorders
  • Rectal cancers
  • Skin cancers

Surgical services we offer

Our team specializes in numerous surgical specialties, such as general surgery. As much as possible, we prioritize minimally invasive procedures, including robotic surgeries, which reduce or eliminate hospital stays, shorten recovery times, leave minimal scarring and allow you to primarily recover at home. We work with you to determine the procedure that best treats your condition.

Bariatric (weight loss) surgery

When nonsurgical means have been exhausted, our bariatric surgeons perform several weight loss surgeries to help treat obesity. These include:

  • Gastric bypass
  • Gastric sleeve
  • Nissen fundoplication
  • Toupet fundoplication

Cholecystectomy

This procedure, also known as gallbladder surgery, involves the surgical removal of the gallbladder. The standard treatment for gallstones and gallbladder cancer, our gallbladder surgeons specialize in laparoscopic and robot-assisted cholecystectomies, as a benefit to you.

Hernia surgery

At our practice, hernia surgeons repair bulges made by organs pressing against muscle tissue or the abdominal wall, which causes pain and discomfort. We treat a variety of hernia types, including abdominal, hiatal, inguinal, para esophageal and umbilical hernias.

Mohs surgery

Our Mohs surgeons, also known as Mohs micrographic surgeons, specialize in the treatment of common skin cancers, such as basal cell and squamous cell carcinoma, as well as less common cancers, like melanoma. During a Mohs procedure, your surgeon will microscopically examine and remove cancerous tissue, layer by layer, until all malignant cells are gone. The surgeon usually performs the surgery in our offices on the same day as your appointment.

Oncologic surgery

We provide a number of screening services and surgical procedures for cancer, including:

  • Colectomy
  • Colonoscopy
  • Pancreatectomy
  • Prostate cancer screening and surgery
  • Whipple procedure
