Nonsurgical treatments and services
Our experts provide comprehensive adult and pediatric orthopedic care for muscle, joint and bone pain in both adults and children. For injuries and conditions that are less severe, nonsurgical treatments are recommended first. These include:
- Braces and orthosis — These devices are used to help with alignment and support, as well as to limit mobility of muscles, joints and other parts of the body.
- Fracture prevention — The experts at our fracture prevention clinic are able to help if you are at a high risk for fragility fractures.
- Injections — We offer several types of injections. These are administered directly into the affected area to treat pain from conditions, such as arthritis and tendonitis.
- Medication management — Our physicians may also prescribe oral medication to relieve pain and inflammation.
- Physical therapy and rehabilitation —Physical therapy helps your body heal and strengthen at the right pace with the support and guidance of our professionals.
Orthopedic surgery
When nonsurgical treatments are not an option, we are here to guide you through the surgical process. Our orthopedic surgeons provide both reconstructive surgery and replacement surgery, as well as consults and referrals for joint replacement surgery. When possible, we take a minimally invasive approach to surgery, allowing you to heal quicker with less scarring.
